Several decades ago a group of wealthy investors came together in search of a more socially responsible way of investing their money. What came out of that meeting was a completely new, international organization with a clear mandate to make a difference. By providing financial services to businesses in developing countries, fair trade organizations, and initiatives in renewable energy, they look to make a positive social change.
What do they need?
The company is looking to speed up their financial reporting by reducing the month-end close process. Currently, they're able to report somewhere in the third week after month-end and they an experienced Lean Six Sigma Consultant to help them speed this up.
They expect the assignment to take about three months, during which, you will describe and analyze the current process to identify elements of waste. Of course, you’ll be expected to define improvements to reduce this waste and implement them. Besides that, you’ll also create user stories for automation.
When do I start?
