In this role, you effectively fulfill the duties of an advisor, project manager, and designer all at once. And the best part? You have the flexibility to determine the balance that suits you best. Let’s dive into details! As an Electrical Engineering Consultant Building Installations you will be designing installations in the broadest sense of the word, for the most prestigious clients. You translate your client’s desires into technical advice and designs, and advance your new team’s expertise in BIM through knowledge transfer. Of course you won’t be doing that all alone! You collaborate with your colleagues to advise clients on a wide range of installation-related issues. The buildings you’ll advise on are just as diverse as the challenges they present. Additionally, you guide the technical designers and ensure the quality of their output.
Great! And what should I bring?
You have a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, General Operational Technology, HIT-E, or something equivalent. Sustainability is a passion of yours and you have a minimum of three years of work experience in E-advising in building installations, for example, with a contractor or engineering firm. Besides, you have experience with integrated construction projects and 3D BIM design. You are determined to make a difference. Not only do you use your skills, you keep learning everyday and actively look for opportunities to grow as a person. You prioritize customer satisfaction, unleash creativity, and uphold a strong sense of responsibility. Collaboration is key as you work closely with a multidisciplinary team including architects, structural engineers, installation advisors, and BIM modelers.
