The number of recruitment companies in the Netherlands has more than doubled since 2013 and there’s even a shortage of skilled recruiters in certain sectors. The recruitment industry is strongly affected by what happens in the world. The corona-crisis for instance had a very noticeable impact on the recruitment industry. The number of vacancies has declined drastically in 2020, but nowadays, this number rises like never before and organizations have the biggest struggles to find new colleagues.
Seize opportunities
The recruitment industry also reacts to shifts in the market. Where are the biggest opportunities? Who has the next billion-dollar idea? Which sector is now growing the fastest of all?
